Frequently asked questions.

Are engagement sessions included in every collection?

Each one except for the intimate wedding collection. Engagement sessions give us a chance to work together before your wedding day, we get to know each other, and you get used to being in front of the camera together. And you may want the practice of kissing on demand. ;)

What sets you apart from other photographers in the area?

My past clients can say that I was more than just their wedding photographer. I capture your wedding day as it happens, but I am there for you while you are planning your wedding. If you need help with anything or have questions about timelines, events, planning checklists, and all other things, I am here for you.

I make sure to capture lasting, elegant, and timeless photos that you will be proud to show for years to come.

What is the deposit amount for a wedding?

The deposit is $1000 and we will create a payment plan for you. The final payment is due one month before the wedding.

Do you work off of a shot list? Can we supply one for you?

I will always ask for the must-have family photo list before the wedding so that we don’t miss someone special to you. Shot lists that are on Theknot.com and other wedding websites may be beneficial for newer photographers, and most of them include standard things any experienced photographer will capture. It is not necessary to provide me with a shot list besides names and setups for family photos.

Can I get all the RAW files?

For many reasons I do not sell or release RAW files; rather you will receive edited, high-resolution images. This is an industry standard, and I cannot make exceptions.

What is the booking process?

We can meet for coffee or your drink of choice and learn a bit more about each other. We can discuss your wedding day, and the collection options further. Once you decide I am the right person/photographer for you, it is time to sign on the dotted line. I will send you a proposal by email where you can review the Wedding Collection information, payment schedule, and contract. You will then sign the contract and make the deposit payment. Payments can be made by credit card (yay! points), e-transfer, cash, or cheque.
