Alicia & Dakota | Pavan Park Engagement Session

Alicia and Dakota had a shorter engagement, but we were still able to meet up for a summer evening engagement session at Pavan Park before their August wedding!

Engagement sessions are included with MOST of my wedding collections (with exception of the Intimate Collection) and I always tell my clients it is a great opportunity to get practice in front of the camera together, but also to get comfortable with me. Oh, and kissing on demand.

Even if you have worked with a photographer before, the first 10-20 minutes feel weird. A near stranger is telling you where to put your hands, telling you to snuggle up and kiss. It feels awkward, but it is okay, because it gets easier. By the time your wedding day comes, you feel ready for the formal portrait portion of your timeline and you crush it. And kissing on demand, or in front of all your guests is no big deal.

These two were friends first, and then started dating, and I just freaking love that.
